I fully acknowledge the importance of succeeding in school academically by completing the course of curriculum to graduation from high school. I further understand that to complete my education will require of me discipline and consistency in application, key elements in achieving a successful career. By signing this compact I am acknowledging to my family, my friends, and to my school that I am committed and determined to succeed in my education. I will, to the best of my abilities:

-Read, understand, and comply with the WCSD Parent Student Handbook -Attend my classes and other school activities arriving on time
-Attend classes, school functions, and other school activities attired and groomed appropriately and in compliance with school standards
Understand that there are short-term and long-term consequences to poor behavior and that I will conduct myself in a manner that reflects high standards that are conducive to the learning process
-Have respect for other students, for teachers and administrators in my classes and other school activities
-Convey to school officials my concerns over improper personal and/or professional behavior by educators and school administrators without fear of retribution
Complete my class assignments in a timely manner
-Utilize the Infinite Campus as necessary and appropriate to learn of school schedules and class assignments. I further will communicate to appropriate school officials continuing problems I am experiencing or difficulties with classroom assignments in a timely manner that will allow for corrective measures to be applied.
-Recognize that should I apply for employment with a business that has adopted this Community Compact, my school will provide that business with a “Certificate in Good Standing” for me referencing my academic, attendance, and conduct status.
-Recognize that should I apply for participation in some organized activities that have adopted this Community Compact, my school will provide that business with a “Certificate in Good Standing” for me referencing my academic, attendance, and conduct status.
-In the spirit of ensuring my academic proficiency as well as graduation from high school, I do commit to the above checked activities.
