Arts & Cultural Organizations/Programs

Our organization, in full recognition of the importance of K-12 education in building character in our region’s youth, and to the individual success of each student, enthusiastically adopts this Community Compact in demonstration of our support of public education within the Washoe County School District. As an organization we will:

-Instill the importance of academic success leading to a high school diploma and preparation for life
-Reinforce the importance of dedication, tenacity, confidence, and good conduct in cultural activities as well as at school and other activities
-Ask that participants submit a “Certificate in Good Standing” at the beginning of each calendar year acknowledging that their academic, attendance, and conduct status are acceptable
-Extend to participants and parents guidance, assistance, or referral of participants if they are having difficulty at school staying on the “Pathway to Graduation”

In the spirit of ensuring all of our participants are on the Pathway to Graduation, we do commit to the above checked activities.
